Internal diameter of the lever is indeed 46mm, my scope ring was 45mm, 5 minutes in the vise with a file, trimmed 1/8" off the bottom tab = Perfect fit with no gap! I couldn't imagine going down past 44mm though, there's just not enough material on the bottom tab.

Perfect fit (Zeiss V6 2,5-15x56). I recommend to cover the inside of the throw lever with thin 1mm foam tape to avoid scratching the scope.
